Reports indicate that Kyle Chandler may be set to take on the main character in HBO’s “Lanterns” version of Green Lantern, according to information from our trusted sources.
It’s said that Chandler could take on the role of Hal Jordan if he joins the show. The storyline will focus on Jordan and John Stewart, both part of the Green Lantern Corps. As of now, no actor has been cast for Stewart’s character.
Representatives for HBO and Warner Bros. Television chose not to provide a statement, while representatives for Chandler were yet to respond to EbMaster’s request for a comment.
Chandler has joined the cast as the most recent prominent figure in the show, following earlier reports that Josh Brolin was initially given the opportunity to play Hal Jordan but declined.
