Landman Season 2: Paramount’s Shocking Renewal Will Blow Your Mind!

Get ready, oil magnates! The ending of Taylor Sheridan’s Landman series has been disclosed at last… and it appears that fortune is pouring down like rain for them.

Supporters of Sheridan’s television productions are likely quite content at this moment. Excluding Landman, the series Yellowstone has concluded permanently, and the second season of Lioness isn’t far from finishing as well.

1923’s second season is currently underway, and additional Yellowstone spin-offs such as The Madison are on standby to follow suit. Now, another piece of the empire is being served up.

Exploring the sphere of oil rigs in West Texas and the cunning figure of landman Tommy Norris, it seems that the realm of scheming and questionable father-daughter dynamics remains unresolved.

Landman Season 2 officially renewed by Paramount

Indeed, it’s hard to contain my excitement! It’s true; they’ve officially greenlit another season of “Landman” by Paramount. This announcement comes barely two months after the jaw-dropping finale of Season 1. I can hardly wait to dive back into this captivating world!

In Chris McCarthy’s words, “Landman was one of the most significant shows this year because Taylor Sheridan has a distinct talent for reflecting the spirit of our times, blending timeless Neo-Western elements like rugged individualism, ambition, and working-class strife with current discussions about energy, climate change, and economic advancement.

Thanks to a popular series, Paramount+ has soared to greater heights, ranking second among Subscription Video-on-Demand platforms in the U.S. for Original Hours Watched during Q4. This achievement is also shared with other successful series such as Tulsa King, The Agency, Lioness, and Dexter: Original Sin.

It’s evident from the previous statement that over the past few weeks, three TV series produced by Taylor Sheridan have significantly contributed to this rise. This is only the second instance since Nielsen started monitoring Streaming Video on Demand services (Q3–17) where a platform has had three shows among the top 10 outside of Netflix.

Given that the accolades for the TV series stack up against the enthusiastic audience response, it’s hardly unexpected that they’ve decided to continue with a third season.

In a historical first for Paramount+, Landman’s global premiere and finale garnered an impressive 35 million viewers across streaming platforms, making it the most-watched series launch and conclusion in their history. It was also the number one Paramount+ original, and Billy Bob Thornton earned a prestigious Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor as a result.

Additionally, the show featured Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan, and Colm Feore in its cast.

We’re unsure at this point about which cast members will return for the next season, nor do we have any information regarding the release dates or plotlines for Season 2 as of now.
