As a fan who’s been through the highs and lows of Lady Gaga‘s iconic career, I can’t help but feel a thrill at the news that she’ll be joining the cast of Wednesday on Netflix. From “Poker Face” to “Shallow,” Gaga has always had a knack for making every role her own.


If you repeat “Lady Gaga” into the camera three times, she might make an appearance – though it’s not yet clear in what capacity she’ll be involved in the second season of Netflix’s popular show “Wednesday.” According to Entertainment Weekly, Lady Gaga is set to appear on the show, but whether she’ll play a classic Addams character or a new creation remains unknown. Personally, I think they should reprise the role of Debbie Jellinsky from “The Addams Family Values,” as played by Joan Allen, or perhaps Cousin Itt. This casting is a nod to a TikTok trend from the first season, where Wednesday’s dance (originally set to “Goo Goo Muck” by the Cramps) was paired with a sped-up version of Gaga’s “Bloody Mary.” The trend helped propel Gaga’s track up the Billboard charts. This time around, maybe it could do the same for “Disease”?
