Lacy admits he’s only multistreaming for extra money as FaZe join Kick

Nick ‘Lacy’ Fosco from FaZe Clan confessed that he began broadcasting across multiple platforms on Kick primarily for the additional earnings, following several other FaZe content producers who have taken this step.

As a gamer, I’ve noticed that streaming platforms like Twitch, YouTube, and others are loosening their exclusive deals, giving me more flexibility in deciding where to broadcast my gameplay. It’s a refreshing change!

Recently, multistreaming – simultaneously broadcasting a single stream across multiple platforms – has gained significant popularity. Pioneered by Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins in the year 2022, this approach has since been adopted by more and more broadcasters as more platforms have embraced it.

Additionally, Asmongold and several members of FaZe Clan’s creative team have also found advantages in using that platform as their secondary streaming venue.

FaZe Lacy confessed that his primary focus remains on Twitch, but he’s also leveraging Kick as a secondary source of earnings.

Today marks my inaugural foray into multistreaming, he shared. “I’m eager to see how it unfolds,” he added. “While primarily attending to my Twitch community and chat, I’ll occasionally glance over at the Kick chat as well.

I understand people are asking why I’m doing this, some saying I’ve sold out or compromised my principles. Frankly, if it meant an extra income of $100 per month, I’d consider it too. Yes, I admit that’s what I’m doing by multistreaming on Kick – it’s all about the financial gain. And yes, if you were in my shoes, you might do the same!

Many streamers have been enticed by the potential for higher earnings on Kick, yet they’re not maximizing their income potential.

When you broadcast simultaneously across multiple platforms, your earnings could be calculated differently and may be decreased by up to 50% compared to streaming solely on Kick. It’s essential to activate a specific setting each time you stream live to notify Kick about the multistreaming. This applies every time you go live.
