It’s been reported that well-known Twitch broadcaster Kyedae expressed that she has had enough of streaming, causing her fans to fear that she may indeed be stepping away from her profession as an online entertainer permanently.
On April 12th, Kyedae’s most recent Twitch live stream occurred, marking a gap of 24 days since her previous session. Kicking off the stream was a remark that hinted at uncertainties about her continued activity on Twitch.
At the start of the live stream, she confessed that her absence would last for quite some time, and went as far as saying she was already partially departed, following a viewer’s question about whether she was leaving streaming permanently.
She mentioned towards the end of the stream that she’s unlikely to return for some time or may pop up occasionally, but overall, she’s stepping away from streaming. So long everyone.
Fans found themselves perplexed and concerned after the sudden termination of her live broadcast, with no clear explanation given so far from her on social media about the circumstances surrounding it.
Kyedae shares that she might be taking a break from streaming for some time, as she feels it’s time for her to step away from it. Farewell to everyone!

Many people are discussing the possibility that she’s moving her attention towards Valorant, a game she often streamed on Twitch, and some are concerned that her recent shift could be due to health concerns.
Kyedae seemingly retires from Twitch after health issues
Back in March 2023, Kyedae disclosed that she had received a diagnosis for Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a form of cancer that targets the blood and marrow inside bones.
That particular September, she disclosed that she had finished chemotherapy treatments, yet clarified that it didn’t signify she was entirely free from further treatment for her ailment.

In March 2024, the streamer parted ways with 100 Thieves, a team she’d been affiliated with for three years. This move appears to have concluded their professional association amicably.
In June of the same year, it was verified by Kyedae that Kick had contacted her about a streaming agreement following a former employee’s allegation that the company had deliberately offered her a low contract due to her cancer diagnosis.
She commented on the situation, stating, “Regardless of whether they attempted to take advantage of me due to my cancer, I’m untroubled by it. The truth is, it holds little significance for me. That particular platform appears to be struggling and declining.
It seems that Kyedae has stepped away from streaming, coinciding with her partner, TenZ, leaving competitive Valorant in the year 2024.
Indeed, it came to light that TenZ took a break from streaming at the start of 2024 to support Kyedae with her health issues. Specifically, he mentioned that she had been struggling with carpal tunnel during that period.
Currently, it’s uncertain why she’s taking a break from making content, causing her audience to eagerly wait for further explanations.
