Kyedae and TenZ have announced they’ve broken up. Both of them have spoken about it publicly and asked fans to avoid spreading rumors or negative comments.
On February 8th, Kyedae announced that she and her partner had separated amicably. They both agreed that they had stopped developing as individuals and needed space to grow on their own, leading to the decision to go their separate ways.
Kyedae shared that they had been separated for a while. She explained that near the end of their relationship, they realized they had stopped growing as people, which was difficult to come to terms with.
The streamer shared that for most of their six years together, she and her partner did everything as a couple – they worked together, enjoyed the same hobbies, and had a lot of shared interests. They even moved in together very quickly after they first met, and from ages 17 to 24, their lives were completely connected.

According to Kyedae, there was no single incident behind the split and no resentment between them.
People are always looking for drama, but the real reason for our split is simple: we just drifted apart. There wasn’t any fighting, bad feelings, or one big thing that caused it to happen.
She ended her message by thanking her fans for their support and requesting privacy, adding that she and the other person involved still have strong feelings for each other.
TenZ asks fans to stop “unnecessary hate”
After seeing online posts he felt spread lies and negativity towards Kyedae, TenZ publicly shared his own reaction.
I’ve noticed a lot of strange and untrue posts online about Kyedae and me, which are causing unnecessary negativity. We ended our relationship on good terms, and we still have a lot of affection for each other.
Hi everyone, I’ve noticed a lot of inaccurate and hurtful posts circulating about Kyedae and me. It’s really upsetting to see these false stories and negativity. We ended things amicably and still have a lot of love and respect for each other. Honestly…

TenZ clarified that Kyedae had no impact on his choice to leave pro Valorant, directly denying those claims.
He stated that he stopped playing professionally by his own choice, and wasn’t pressured by anyone to do so. He explained that his personal goals had simply shifted over time, leading to his decision.
He explained that it’s harmful to compare how much each person gives in a relationship, and asked everyone to respect their mutual decision.
TenZ pointed out that Kyedae is still facing health challenges, which makes the recent negativity she’s received particularly hurtful. Kyedae publicly shared her cancer diagnosis in 2023 and has been keeping her followers updated on her progress and treatment.
Both individuals requested privacy and asked for understanding, sharing that they ended their relationship with respect and kindness.
