Kyedae and TenZ have announced they’ve broken up. Both of them have spoken about it publicly and asked fans to avoid spreading rumors or negative comments.
On February 8th, Kyedae announced that she and her partner had separated amicably. They both agreed the split was necessary after recognizing they had stopped growing as individuals and needed room to pursue their own paths.
Kyedae shared that she and her partner had been separated for a while. She explained that near the end of their relationship, they realized they’d stopped growing as people, which was difficult to come to terms with.
The streamer shared that she and her partner did almost everything together for six years – from working and pursuing hobbies to simply enjoying life. They moved in together very quickly after they first met, and for seven years, from age seventeen to twenty-four, their lives were completely connected.

According to Kyedae, there was no single incident behind the split and no resentment between them.
“We know the internet often looks for ‘the tea’ but the truth is simple. We grew apart. There was no wrongdoing, no resentment, and no single event that caused this,” she said.
She ended by thanking her fans for their support and requesting privacy, adding that she and the other person involved still have feelings for each other.
TenZ asks fans to stop “unnecessary hate”
After seeing online posts he felt spread lies and targeted Kyedae with hate, TenZ publicly responded.
There’s been a lot of strange and untrue information circulating online about Kyedae and me, which is causing unnecessary negativity. We ended our relationship amicably and continue to care for each other.

Okay, so there’s been a lot of talk about why I stopped playing pro Valorant, and people were saying it had something to do with Kyedae. I just wanted to clear things up – that’s not true at all. It was my own decision, and Kyedae didn’t influence it.
He stated he stopped playing professionally by his own decision, and wasn’t pressured by anyone to do so. He explained that his priorities simply shifted over time, leading him to move on.
He explained that it’s never healthy to compare how much each person gives in a relationship, and asked everyone to respect their mutual decision.
TenZ pointed out that Kyedae is still facing health challenges, which makes the recent negativity directed at her particularly hurtful. Kyedae publicly shared her cancer diagnosis in 2023 and has been keeping her followers updated on her treatment.
Both creators requested privacy and asked for understanding, sharing that they ended their relationship with respect and without any hard feelings.
