KSI’s upcoming boxing encounter with Dillon Danis has been postponed due to the YouTuber contracting a rare illness that he claims is unlike any he’s faced before.
Initially, it was planned for KSI to step back into the ring on March 29th in Manchester against ex-Bellator MMA fighter Dillon Danis. However, that fight has been delayed with no rescheduled date as of now.
Initially scheduled for a fight in January 2023, Danis and KSI were supposed to square off, but the mixed martial arts competitor withdrew only ten days prior, causing KSI to pick FaZe Temperrr to take his place instead.
Essentially, events from the past seem to be recurring, albeit with a twist. Misfits has assured us that they’ll provide an update on the ongoing battle, with all tickets still valid for the new date. Simultaneously, KSI has shared some harrowing details about his current health issues.

YouTuber KSI says his body has “given up” preparing for Danis fight
In a recent video about X, KSI shared with his followers about his current state of health, stating that he’s been too unwell to engage in training or even promote the upcoming event.
A fight between me and Danis on March 29th is not feasible. Despite my best efforts, my body has simply run out of steam. At the moment, I’m in bed, taking antibiotics to help me recover, but it’s proving difficult. He shared that he’s been experiencing persistent coughing up of greenish-yellow phlegm.
As reported by KSI, he’s been encountering daily headaches and despite attempting to train, his body seems to be preventing him. His endurance level is still far from where he desires it to be at the moment.

He confessed that he currently can’t taste or smell anything, and he’s feeling quite helpless about it as this condition has persisted for nearly three weeks with no improvement. His doctor is trying to diagnose the issue, but he’s never been this unwell for this long in his life. He feels utterly useless and it’s a real downer for him.
KSI expresses that he’s yet to deliver a knockout punch to Dillon Danis, but at present, he’s not fit enough for the match. He also expressed his regret and apologies to both the fans and Misfits Gaming for having to reschedule.
Dillon Danis mocks KSI for postponing boxing match
Danis swiftly poked fun at KSI over his choice, digging up an old tweet from the YouTuber asserting that he never backs down from brawls.
This aged well 😂

“This aged well,” Danis mocked.
I didn’t follow through with your punishment yet, it’s been put off. The delay doesn’t mean the consequences aren’t coming for you,” KSI responded.
Olajide, you withdrew from the competition. Cancelled the entire event. It’s rare for little league baseball games to be rescheduled, but major fight events don’t typically get postponed.

In an effort to keep up with the conversation, Danis countered by saying: “You backed down, Olajide, calling off the entire event. Cancelling little league baseball games is different from postponing multi-million dollar fight cards.
Regardless, we’ll need to determine when the fight will be rescheduled and whether KSI can recover from his illness and achieve his aim of delivering a knockout punch in the match.
