Hideo Kojima recently shared an interesting fact about his PlayStation game, Death Stranding. In a social media update, he mentioned that he gave Margaret Qualley a part in the video game following her appearance in a Kenzo fragrance commercial in 2016.
In this advertisement, it is Spike Jonze (renowned for Being John Malkovich and Her) who takes charge as director. The unique aspect here is Joey King’s performance, where she dances in a myriad of twisted poses, just like a flexible tree as per her agent’s instructions. In the game Death Stranding, Qualley portrays both Mama and Lockne characters. There hasn’t been a definitive confirmation yet whether Qualley will reprise her roles in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.

A media event was recently hosted by Kojima Productions, where press were given an early glimpse of the game. Expectations and feedback from this play session will be shared online come May.
