As a long-time fan of Kodak Black and someone who has followed his career closely, I find myself both disappointed and unsurprised by his recent actions during Kai Cenat’s Twitch stream. On one hand, it’s disheartening to see an artist I admire make such a public display of what appears to be drug use. However, given his past struggles with the law and addiction, I can’t help but feel that this is just another chapter in a story all too familiar to those who have followed his journey.
Rap artist Kodak Black has spoken up following his controversial action during live-streamer Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon event, acknowledging that he ingested a pill on camera.
Kai Cenat is currently engaged in a month-long streaming marathon, where he’s had the opportunity to mingle with numerous famous personalities, including the actress from iCarly, Miranda Cosgrove, as well as the renowned rapper, Snoop Dogg.
As a dedicated fan, I was thrilled when Kai collaborated with Kodak Black on November 4th, inviting him onto the live stream. However, the excitement quickly turned into a stir when it seemed like Kodak might have taken a pill during the broadcast, causing quite a commotion among viewers.
Subsequently, spectators asserted that the rapper displayed unusual behavior and speculated drug use. However, at the time of publication, Kai did not respond to these allegations. Later on, Kodak Black disclosed details about the incident.

The rapper chose Instagram Live as a platform to discuss the issue, during which he seemed critical towards his critics and suggested he had used Percocet while streaming with Kai.
In response, he said, “You lot are dabbling in various kinds of nonsense.” He continued, “You’re experimenting with mushrooms, LSD, all sorts of foolishness. Yet, I only take one Percocet and you all become so sensitive. You don’t want to like each other anyway.
He went on to slam commenters saying he “needs help,” saying they “got no motion” and are “broke.”
“Everybody got a vice in some kinda way,” he argued. “Even if it ain’t drugs.”
In addition to the stir created by another incident during Kai’s live stream with Kodak, there was a commotion when Kai’s followers expressed a preference for Lil Uzi as a guest over Kodak. Despite Kodak indicating his desire to depart, he ended up staying on the stream until its conclusion.
On multiple occasions, individuals appearing on Kai’s live stream have ignited debates. Back in 2022, rap artist Blueface and his companion Chrisean Rock faced severe criticism after they reportedly caused damage to Kai’s residence by creating a hole in one of his walls.
