Knut bans Kick streamer from Iron Forge Gym for inappropriately filming female patron

As a seasoned gamer and long-time follower of the streaming community, I’ve seen it all – from epic victories to cringe-worthy moments that make you want to hide under your desk. The recent incident at Iron Forge Gym, involving Kick streamer KangJoel, is one such moment that has left a lasting impression on me.

Twitch celebrity Knut expelled a Kick streamer from his Iron Forge gym because of his behavior towards a female member.

In January 2024, well-known broadcasters Knut and Mizkif launched their gym specifically designed for streamers, Iron Forge. Ever since its opening, it has thrived as a hub for numerous viral incidents.

Yet, it’s important to note that the gym has not been entirely free of awkward encounters between its members. One such instance took place during the live stream of popular kickboxer KangJoel in September 2024.

In simpler terms, KangJoel broadcasted his exercise routine at Iron Forge Gym live to his audience of 47,000 individuals. During his tour of the facility, he encountered a lady doing squats, who was dressed in vibrant pink gym shorts.

Following her, Joel adjusted the camera to capture himself and made a facial expression, potentially an action that could’ve led to his suspension from the studio.

While preparing for his treadmill workout, Joel was unexpectedly approached by Knut, who informed him that he would be evicted from the gym.

Apologies, but you need to step out, mate. I can’t let that behavior slide. Harassing others like that isn’t cool or acceptable. I’m truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

He added, “I offered you an opportunity, but you shattered it.” It seemed Joel was perplexed about what was happening. “Had you not acted that way, everything would have remained unscathed.

Joel apologized and followed Knut as the streamer escorted him out of the building.

Joel admitted it was his mistake,” he explained. “Honestly, I didn’t mean to. It just so happened that someone was standing very close to me as I walked by.

We reached out to Kick regarding the matter, and they shared that they can’t provide comments on the measures taken specifically for creators. Yet, they did disclose that they collaborate with streamers to “help them comprehend what led to the action and to rectify it in future interactions.

Furthermore, Kick assured us that they keep a close eye on instances that breach their Terms of Service or Community Guidelines and take appropriate action against them.

Thus far, KangJoel has not been banned on Kick due to the incident at Iron Forge gym.

On previous occasions, incidents involving awkward encounters at Iron Forge have gained widespread attention. Back in February 2024, Twitch personality Russell had a public altercation with a patron who persisted in flirting with his partner, Luna.
