As a gaming enthusiast, I stumbled upon an interesting tidbit on my feed yesterday. The popular Japanese clothing store Shimamura had to deal with a little hiccup regarding their Kirby kids’ hoodie. They’re offering refunds or exchanges because of a typo – instead of Kirby, it reads Karby on the sweatshirt. Some folks think this might turn out to be a collector’s item due to the misspelling. In the U.S., it seems fitting to call the pink puffball in Kirby and the Forgotten Land “Karby”, if one were to imagine what its name might be after breathing in a car. However, this could lead to complications in giving the character a different title for each item he swallows.
