Kingdom’s Return first character trailer showcases the Imperial class

Inti Creates has released more information about Kingdom’s Return: Time-Eating Fruit and the Ancient Monster. The game’s website now features an explanation of the Class Circle system, as well as a complete list of moves for the Imperial character class.

The Class Circle functions similarly to a skill tree in many games. Players earn points to unlock new attacks and abilities for their character over time. These learned skills can then be assigned to buttons for quick use during combat.

Imperial is the first class to receive thorough descriptions, but we’ll be adding more details for Alchemist, Wizard, and Zipangu classes in future updates.

Check out the new trailer for the Imperial class and learn more about Class Circles below! Kingdom’s Return: Time-Eating Fruit and the Ancient Monster launches on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam) on April 23rd.

Leveling Up

Progress through battles to gain experience and level up your characters. As they level up, you’ll also earn Class Points, which you can use to make them even stronger.

Class Circle

Every character has a unique skill tree where you can unlock new abilities and features. You’ll earn Class Points by leveling up, and you’ll need these points to unlock things in the skill tree. You’ll start in the center, and can unlock abilities that are connected by highlighted lines. These abilities fall into four categories: Passive, Action, Skill, and Bonus. Before you can use a Skill in-game, you need to assign it to a button on your controller.
