As an avid gamer who’s been through countless console generations and has a soft spot for Nintendo, I can’t help but jump with joy at the news of the Sora Amiibo reprint! The elusive Keyblade wielder has been a grail figure in my collection since its launch earlier this year. I remember the days of hunting for restocks, only to be left empty-handed. But November 7 is finally here, and I can preorder Sora at GameStop or Best Buy for just $16!
Among the highly coveted and difficult-to-find Nintendo Switch Amiibo figures, one is making a comeback: Sora from Kingdom Hearts. The Keyblade-wielding character has been notoriously tough to find at a fair price since its release in February. However, it’s now set for another popular release on November 7th. You can preorder the Sora Amiibo reprint for $16 at GameStop and Best Buy.
GameStop currently has some hard-to-find Amiibo figures back in stock, so it’s worth checking them out. Notably, they have the Minecraft Steve and Alex combo pack, Ness from Smash Bros., Mr. Game & Watch, Duck Hunt, and the original Nintendo robot accessory R.O.B. Keep in mind that to qualify for free shipping at GameStop, you need to spend over $79.

Sora’s Amiibo replicates the main character from Kingdom Hearts, complete with his iconic Keyblade. This figure made its debut among a select few non-Nintendo characters in Super Smash Bros., receiving the Amiibo treatment on February 16th. Notable non-Nintendo figures represented by Amiibos include the duo Banjo & Kazooie, originating from Rare’s classic platformer series, and the martial artist Terry Bogard, known for his roles in Fatal Fury and King of Fighters.
This year, Sora becomes the most recent figurine in the Amiibo series to be reprinted. Prior to the launch of “Echoes of Wisdom”, several figures from The Legend of Zelda Amiibo series have been re-released, including the charming Link-inspired doll from “Link’s Awakening” (and “Echoes of Wisdom”) and the cartoonish Toon Zelda from “The Wind Waker”.
