As summer draws near, it’s no secret that we anticipate – in jest, of course, referring to the Kardashian-Jenner clan – their beachwear appearances! However, it seems they don’t hold back for the summer heat; evidence is Kim Kardashian’s spring break photos from last month. Additionally, they’ve recently posted images from their Hawaiian vacation, and while the glimpse into their tropical escape was intriguing, my admiration has grown even more upon learning the potential price tag of Kim’s diamond anklets.

Kim Kardashian shared some fun moments to her Instagram page, and the fourth slide shows off some absolutely beautiful anklets in a look that one celebrity jeweler said probably cost her five figures.

George Khalife, more commonly recognized as George the Jeweler, shared with People that although the identity of the designer remains unknown, it’s clear that the extravagant jewelry pieces “without a doubt, carry a hefty price tag.” Having collaborated with the Kardashian family previously, this designer has estimated the retail value of the anklets to be around $20,000 for just the pink and yellow ones. George the Jeweler went on to describe the intricate design of the gems used in these pieces.

It seems that the prominent stones are shaped like emerald cuts and might actually be pink sapphires accompanied by diamonds. The yellow stone could either be princess-cut or cushion-cut. The thin, delicate diamond appears to be a round-cut, which I personally prefer for anklets. Lastly, it’s possible that the other stones are oval-cuts with rounds.

After the well-known incident when Kim Kardashian lost an earring in the ocean (often referred to as a memorable reality TV moment), you’d think she would have learned not to wear valuable jewelry to the beach. Frankly, I wouldn’t want sand getting near my expensive diamonds either.

According to George the Jeweler, it seems this trend might be particularly popular among his clients this summer, as they’ve been inquiring about certain pieces. In other words, he predicts that this could be a significant trend for this season.
