Kim Kardashian Visits Menendez Brothers Along With ‘Monsters’ Actor Cooper Koch

As a seasoned movie critic who has seen the darkest corners of Hollywood portrayed on screen, I must say that the latest developments surrounding the “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story” have left me both intrigued and somewhat apprehensive.

On Saturday, Kim Kardashian made a visit to the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility close to San Diego. There, she engaged in discussions about prison reform with a substantial number of prisoners, which included Lyle and Erik Menendez among them.

Kardashian was accompanied by his sister Khloe Kardashian, their mother Kris Jenner, film producer Scott Budnick, and actor Cooper Koch – known for portraying Erik in Ryan Murphy’s Netflix biographical series “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.

In December 1989, Eric and Lyle Menendez, brothers accused of murdering their parents Kitty and Jose Menendez, were found guilty for the premeditated killing and planning of this crime. The verdict led to a life sentence without the possibility of parole.

On a Friday, Erik voiced strong criticism towards “Monsters,” claiming that the Netflix mini-series had damaging representations of both him and his sibling Lyle.

With a sense of sadness, I’m expressing my view that it’s unlikely Ryan Murphy is unaware and incorrect about the facts of our lives to such an extent, without some ulterior motive,” Menendez expressed in his statement, which was shared on Tammi Menendez’s social media platform (previously known as Twitter).

As a dedicated movie enthusiast, I’ll share my personal insights about portraying a captivating character. It’s not me, per se, that’s on screen, but rather interpretations of the character. This intriguing part involves a complex dance where I’m not necessarily revealing her genuine self, which has proven to be quite challenging for me.

Growing up, I lived just around the corner from the place where all those events took place, and we attended the same schools,” Kardashian said in response. “I recall hearing about that case. My father used to drive me past the house and share the story with me. He had actually been inside the house himself. If by chance the boys ever reached out to you, would you be receptive?

Sevigny expressed concern, stating that the situation seems like a precarious path with potentially harmful legal implications. She’s worked on many real-life crime cases, and she finds it emotionally taxing to consider the responsibilities towards the victims, even the killers, and their families.

TMZ was first to report Kardashian’s visit.
