A Kick streamer named Conner is receiving praise for helping people involved in a car accident he saw while live streaming in downtown Los Angeles.
IRL (In Real Life) streams often show surprising and unscripted events as streamers broadcast their everyday activities while out in public.
Things can be unpredictable during live streams, as one Kick streamer and his audience found out on January 18 while broadcasting a drive through downtown Los Angeles.
Conner, a well-known streamer on Kick with over 21,000 followers, was driving near the Hilton DoubleTree in Little Tokyo when he saw a dark car run a red light and collide with a white van. The impact happened on the side of the van.

The car initially seemed to be slowing down, but the driver unexpectedly continued through the intersection, hitting a van and causing it to flip into the pedestrian crossing.
The collision caused the van to roll over, leaving Conner and his passenger shocked. He immediately called 911 to report the crash and rushed into the street to assist the drivers involved.
It was scary seeing the van driver stuck in his vehicle, but thankfully the emergency services arrived really quickly. I happened to have dashcam footage from my Tesla, and I offered to let one of the medics take a look. It clearly showed the sedan slowing down and tapping its brakes before going into the intersection and unfortunately hitting the van.

Conner frequently broadcasts himself driving around Los Angeles while monitoring a police scanner. He had just left the scene of a deadly crash caused by a comparable incident.
People online are applauding Conner for acting quickly and being so helpful, with one user on X saying he deserves recognition.
“That’s terrifying, glad someone caught it on camera,” another said.
Someone on Reddit praised the streamer for calling 911, saying not everyone would realize they’re the one who needs to make the call in an emergency like that.
A streamer recently captured footage of a car crash that happened during an impromptu street race. Luckily, both drivers survived with minor injuries.
In May 2025, two online streamers came across a serious highway accident and immediately stopped to help. They guided traffic around the scene, called for emergency assistance, and worked to keep the victim’s privacy protected.
