KFC lets customers trade chicken-related items for free fried chicken

KFC Thailand celebrated “Fried Chicken Day” on July 6, 2025, by offering a fun deal: customers could bring any chicken-related items to certain branches and receive free fried chicken as a reward!

The ‘Free-a-Chicken, Get-a-Chicken’ event occurred at three different locations: KFC Central Westgate in Central Phitsanulok, Central Phitsanulok; and Robinson Lifestyle Prachinburi.

Enthusiasts arrived bearing a variety of items ranging from squishy chicken figurines to bags filled with chicken-themed rice. Remarkably, some individuals were admitted based solely on their names beginning with the Thai term ‘Kor Kai,’ which translates to ‘chicken.’

KFC gives away free fried chicken

In order to join, customers had to buy a dish with chicken as an ingredient and show it to the staff. This special offer was available only for the first 200 customers at every store.

KFC Thailand organized an event aimed at drawing out the creative side of Thai customers, all while offering unforgettable brand encounters. The initiative ignited significant interaction on various social media networks as well.

Suhayl Limbada, the marketing chief at KFC Thailand, expressed satisfaction as the event surpassed predictions: “It’s wonderful to observe fans expressing their ‘chicken side’ in innovative fashions. Rest assured, we will keep creating exciting campaigns such as this one to offer more than just tasty food; we aim to deliver experiences that are truly memorable.

Over the past few months, KFC hasn’t exactly shied away from the extraordinary, and their latest move is no exception! Just on July 3rd, KFC Hong Kong unveiled an exciting partnership with Gundam, introducing a brand-new meal packaged in a themed bucket, inspired by this iconic anime series.
