In an exciting turn of events, Kevin Bacon returns with a powerful comeback! The upcoming limited series titled “The Bondsman,” produced by Blumhouse Television, will premiere on Amazon Prime Video starting from April 3. Here are some sneak peeks at the show for your viewing pleasure!
Bacon takes on the role of Hub Halloran, a bounty hunter brought back by the Devil to capture demons that have broken free from hell. As he tracks down these demons with the assistance and obstruction of his strained family, Hub discovers why his soul was doomed – this revelation motivates him to pursue another shot at life, love, and a passion for country music, according to the official synopsis.
The show features Jennifer Nettles, Damon Herriman, Beth Grant, Maxwell Jenkins and Jolene Purdy among its cast. Previously learned, Beth Grant will portray Kitty, the mother of Hub Halloran, while Damon Herriman is set to play Lucky, a character described as the owner of a thriving country music club who is in a relationship with Maryanne (Jennifer Nettles), Hub’s former spouse.
In addition to Jennifer Nettles, we have Beth Grant, Damon Herriman, Maxwell Jenkins, and Jolene Purdy joining the cast. You might remember Beth Grant as Kitty, the mother of Hub Halloran. Damon Herriman will be playing Lucky, who is a successful country music club owner dating Maryanne (Jennifer Nettles), Hub’s ex-wife.
Jenkins takes on the role of Cade, Hub and Maryanne’s son, while Purdy is cast as Midge, a character who carries an air of weariness from navigating a male-dominated world with quiet determination. Interestingly, though Midge appears modest, she’s secretly a representative figure.
Jenkins plays Cade, the son of Hub and Maryanne. Purdy is chosen for the role of Midge, who has learned to stand her ground in a world dominated by men, but subtly. At first glance, Midge may seem unassuming, but she’s actually a secret messenger.
