Ken Jeong Set to Appear on Fox’s Legal Anthology ‘Accused’ (EXCLUSIVE)

As a seasoned movie enthusiast with a keen eye for recognizing talent, I am thrilled to see Ken Jeong expanding his acting footprint across various networks and genres. His diverse roles, from “The Masked Singer” to “I Can See Your Voice,” and now “Accused,” showcase his versatility as an actor.

In the upcoming season, I’ll be making an appearance on “Accused,” the crime anthology series from Fox. Besides being a panelist for “The Masked Singer” and hosting “I Can See Your Voice,” this new role adds to my growing presence within the Fox network.

In the upcoming episode titled “Eugene’s Story,” Lee Jeong is set to perform a role as a compassionate jewelry store owner who faces his wife’s hidden past. This episode will be helmed by director Michael Chiklis, marking their second collaboration on the series “Accused.” Notably, Chiklis also starred in Season 6 of “The Shield,” where Jeong was a cast member as well. This time around, besides directing, Chiklis will also reappear on-screen, much like he did during Season 1.

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve signed up for Season 2 of “Accused”, joining an incredible cast that includes none other than my beloved co-star from “The Masked Singer”, the one and only Nick Cannon. The talented Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy, Taylor Schilling, Justin Chambers, Patrick J. Adams, and Danny Pino are also part of this stellar lineup. Can’t wait to bring our characters to life together!

Howard Gordon is the creator of the TV series “Accused,” which is a spin-off from a BBC program. The second season of this show is set to air on Tuesday, October 1st, starting at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.

In each installment, the narrative changes along with the characters, while flashbacks provide insight into a defendant’s perspective. The initial season of this series boasted an ensemble cast consisting of Michael Chiklis, Abigail Breslin, Whitney Cummings, Margo Martindale, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Wendell Pierce, Rachel Bilson, Jack Davenport, Molly Parker, Rhea Perlman, Betsy Brandt, Keith Carradine, Aisha Dee, and Jason Ritter.

The television series “Accused” is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Fox Entertainment, with Gordon and Daniel Pearle serving as co-showrunners and primary executives. Additionally, Alex Gansa, David Shore, Erin Gunn, Milan Cheylov, Frank Siracusa, John Weber, Jacob Cohen-Holmes of All3Media America, Jimmy McGovern, Sita Williams, Roxy Spencer, and Louise Pedersen for All3Media International are all executive producers on the project.

Jeong’s upcoming schedule features the release of Kevin Smith’s “The 4:30 Movie,” set for September 13. His recent projects include “Spy: The Eternal City,” which aired on July 19 via Prime Video, as well as Apple TV+’s comedy series “The Afterparty,” Charlie Day’s “Fool’s Paradise,” Mike Meyers’ “The Pentaverate,” Will Arnett’s “Murderville,” and numerous others. He is also set to appear in the upcoming “Community” movie, and is well-known for his standup special on Netflix titled “You Complete Me, Ho,” the “Hangover” series, “Crazy Rich Asians,” “Pineapple Express,” “Step Brothers,” and many more productions.

In the upcoming football drama “The Senior,” you’ll find Chiklis; his latest roles were in the streaming series “Hotel Cocaine” and HBO’s “Winning Time: The Rise of The Lakers Dynasty.” Previously, he was also seen in movies such as “Don’t Look Up” and the “Fantastic Four” series.

Jeong is represented by Aligned Entertainment, IAG, and lawyer Chad Christopher, while Chiklis is represented by Gersh and Entertainment 360.
