I’m thrilled to share that the highly-anticipated movie from TriStar Pictures, a masterpiece brought to life under Issa Rae’s Hoorae production, will grace our screens in cinemas on January 24, 2025. Penned by the talented Syreeta Singleton and expertly directed by Lawrence Lamont, this film promises to be a captivating experience not to be missed!
Without revealing much about the storyline, I’ll share that the talented cast includes Lil Rel Howery, Janelle James, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Maude Apatow, Katt Williams, Joshua Neal, Aziza Scott, Patrick Cage, and Amin Joseph. Previously, it was exclusively reported by EbMaster that Dewayne Perkins, Joseph, Gabrielle Dennis, and DomiNque Perry have also joined the cast.
The creation of this project is led by HOORAE’s Issa Rae and Sara Diya Rastogi, joined by ColorCreative’s Deniese Davis, as well as Charles D. King, James Lopez, and Poppy Hanks from MACRO Film Studios. Singleton is also involved in production. The Big Boss duo, Palmer and Sharon Palmer, are serving as executive producers. Additionally, MACRO Film Studios is contributing to the project’s financing.
