Kang Full Webtoon Adaptation ‘Light Shop’ to Illuminate Disney+ From December – Global Bulletin

LIGHTING UP TIME

As an avid fan of mystery and suspense, I am genuinely thrilled about the upcoming release of “Light Shop” on Disney+. The intrigue of six strangers piecing together their forgotten pasts to escape from a dark and mysterious neighborhood is right up my alley. With Kang Full, the father of Korean web comics, penning the adapted screenplay and Kim Hiewon directing the series, I have high expectations for this supernatural mystery.

In a puzzling and ominous neighborhood, six individuals find themselves with no recollection of how they arrived there. They must unravel their obscured pasts to escape in the eight-episode supernatural mystery titled “Light Shop“, debuting on the streaming service Disney+ from December onwards.

The television series we’re discussing is based on the popular webtoon “Light Shop,” created by Kang Full, often referred to as the pioneer of Korean web comics. Notably, he also produced the highly successful Disney+ series “Moving.” Kang Full wrote the screenplay for this adaptation, and Kim Hiewon is responsible for directing it.

The program showcases actors like Ju Jihoon from “Blood Free,” Lee Jungeun from “Parasite,” and Kim Minha from “Pachinko.” Additionally, it includes Park Boyoung, best known for her roles in “Strong Girl Bong-soon” and “Oh My Ghost,” portraying a nurse whose life was dramatically altered after a close call with death. Lastly, Bae Seongwoo, recognized for his work in “Veteran” and “The King,” plays the detective.

The first four episodes of “Light Shop” air from Dec. 4.

Love Nature and Sky Nature have given the go-ahead for a captivating 3 x 60-minute series titled “Wild Side of the Moon“. This compelling show, premiered at the Wildscreen Festival, delves into the fascinating and beautiful ways that all life forms are intertwined with the moon’s phases and gravitational pull. The series will showcase various behaviors linked to the moon, from grand movements of animals like humpback whales and elephants down to intricate patterns in tree frogs and dung beetles.

The documentary titled ‘Wild Side of the Moon’ is jointly produced by Love Nature and Sky Nature, with Humble Bee Films serving as its producer. This captivating production will make its debut on Love Nature globally, and in the U.K., Italy, and Germany on Sky Nature. Blue Ant Studios, Love Nature’s parent company, manages pre-sales and licensing for the title in regions outside of those involved in commissioning.

Dominic Weston serves as the showrunner, while Humble Bee Films has Charlotte Crosse and Stephen Dunleavy serving as executive producers. Sky Nature’s executive producer is Kathryn Taylor, and Katie Murdock takes on that role for Love Nature in the production of the series.
