As a long-time supporter of Kamala Harris, I am thrilled to see her return to “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” for what will be her seventh appearance on the show. Her first appearance was back in 2018 when she was a U.S. senator from California, and it’s amazing to see how far she has come since then.
On October 8th, Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to return to CBS’ “Late Night with Stephen Colbert,” making it her first late-night interview since securing the Democratic nomination in August. You can catch her on “The Late Show” every weeknight at 11:35 p.m. Eastern Time.
As reported by CBS, Kamala Harris will make her seventh appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” this coming Tuesday, having last joined him on March 15, 2023. Her first visit to the show was back in April 2018 when she was serving as a senator from California.
On the subsequent night, Harris will be on “The Late Show,” following Minnesota Governor and Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz’s appearance as a guest on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” This will mark Walz’s inaugural late-night appearance, which is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 7.

In this hour-long segment, Bill Whitaker will be hitting the campaign trail with the Democratic ticket, sitting down for exclusive interviews with Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz. During these in-depth chats, we’ll delve into the heart of their campaign platform, uncovering their top priorities, values, and what they deem essential for voters to understand as we approach election day.
In the same episode, “60 Minutes” announced that Scott Pelley would explain why the Republican ticket consisting of former President Donald Trump and Senator JD Vance chose to decline an interview for the special election program on “60 Minutes”.
