Kai Cenat won’t take payment to appear at events
On June 12th, the AMP star made his live debut for a discussion about his award show appearance. He also clarified that he wasn’t familiar with rapper Wale when they initially met.
Kai stated, “When you earn money, there’s often an expectation for positive promotion. This means that when you’re compensated to attend events or endorse products, you’ll be asked to express nothing but praise for these experiences.
Therefore, I don’t feel comfortable accepting it because it creates an expectation that I should behave in a certain way, as if we’ve already agreed on terms. This can lead to dangerous situations and is why I caution against taking money in many cases, as it can limit your authenticity.

Kai’s unrestricted live broadcast during the BET Awards transpired following the event host, Hart, insisting on granting Twitch sensation Kai the freedom to act as he pleases.
