During his Jimmy Fallon interview, rapper Kai Cenat (an AMP star) acknowledged Jaryd ‘summit1g’ Lazar, leaving the Twitch veteran momentarily stunned in disbelief.

Over the past couple of years, I’ve witnessed Kai Cenat’s meteoric rise to become Twitch’s top streamer. He’s had a plethora of celebrities joining him on his channel, he’s smashed the record for the most active subscribers not once, but twice, and he’s elevated the game with his NBA and Batman streams, taking production to new heights.

In the conversation, Kai was asked about his reasons for becoming a streamer and the methods he used to successfully carry out his large-scale Mafiathon live streams.

Kai shoutouts Summit on Jimmy Fallon

He mentioned, “For a short while, I was engrossed in YouTube content. Then, I found myself thinking, ‘It’s time for me to begin streaming.’ As a kid, I used to spend a lot of time watching Twitch, by the way, shoutout to Summit.

Among the initial Twitch streamers I followed was Summit. Over time, as I observed various Twitch communities, I found myself thinking ‘I’d love to stream too’. In February 2021, I began my own streaming journey.

In the early days, I playfully acknowledged a tiny critter scampering across my live stream for contributing to my rising fame.

At a celebration marking over a decade on Twitch, which is owned by Amazon, Summit commended Kai and forecasted that he would spearhead the upcoming generation of streamers.
