The new K-drama, Dynamite Kiss, is quickly becoming a hit on Netflix worldwide. Starring popular actors Ahn Eun-jin and Jang Ki-yong, the romantic comedy centers around a woman who pretends to be engaged to a CEO. As they maintain the facade, real feelings start to develop.
Netflix has announced that Dynamite Kiss is quickly becoming popular with viewers around the world. The K-drama was the third most-watched non-English language TV show on the platform for the week of November 10th to 16th, 2025, racking up 13.8 million hours of watch time from 2.2 million viewers globally.
The show is currently a Top 10 hit in 52 countries, and it’s the most popular show in Hong Kong, Indonesia, the Dominican Republic, and Venezuela. Remarkably, this success was achieved with only the first two episodes available. Netflix releases two episodes of Dynamite Kiss each week, and these rankings are based on the performance of those initial episodes.
This K-drama is a charming romantic comedy with a really interesting story, so it’s no surprise it’s become so popular on streaming platforms. New episodes are released every Wednesday and Thursday, keeping viewers hooked until December 25, 2025. Its blend of humor and romance quickly made it a hit with audiences worldwide, just days after its debut.
The series benefits from its talented lead actors, who have both received awards for their work. Ahn Eun-jin was recognized as Best Actress at the Grimae and MBC Drama Awards in 2023 for her performance in My Dearest. Jang Ki-yong won Best New Actor at the Baeksang Arts Awards and an Excellence Award at the MBC Drama Awards in 2018 for his role in Come and Hug Me.
The K-drama immediately stands out by challenging typical romantic comedy tropes. Instead of saving the first kiss for later, the main characters, Da-rim and Ji-hyeok, share one in the very first episode. This unexpected moment, hinted at by the title Dynamite Kiss, sets the entire story in motion.
With its fresh idea and talented cast, it’s easy to see why Dynamite Kiss is already a hit with viewers around the world on Netflix. Releasing new episodes twice a week helps keep the show trending in the Top 10, and if it continues to captivate audiences, it has the potential to become Netflix’s next big K-drama success.
New episodes of Dynamite Kiss arrive Wednesdays and Thursdays on Netflix.
