I’m so excited for Drova: Forsaken Kin! The developers, Just2D, and publisher Deck13 just released a roadmap, and it looks like they’re adding even more language options for the mobile release, which is coming up soon. It’s great to see them supporting a wider audience!
The mobile version of Drova: Forsaken Kin is coming soon, and the developers recently showed off a preview of the gameplay and user interface. Android users can now pre-register on Google Play. Drova is coming soon to both iOS and Android! This update shares the improvements we’ve made to ensure a smooth experience on mobile.
Getting the controls right is the most important first step in bringing our game to mobile. We’ve designed new on-screen buttons for everything the player can do, and arranged them in a way that feels natural and easy to use. Take a look at the images below to see how it works.
When you’re not in battle, the game’s interface (HUD) is visible. You can interact with things by using the hand icon. If you hold down on the eye icon, you’ll be able to look at the environment in detail.
When in combat, the Heads-Up Display (HUD) changes. You attack by pressing the button that shows which weapon you’re using. Pressing that same button again lets you examine things instead.
You can drag ability and attack buttons to aim at specific enemies. If you don’t, your character will automatically target the closest one.
We’re excited to share more updates on our work for the mobile version of Drova! These changes are just a first look – we’re making a lot of improvements and hope you’ll love the final game. And good news – the PC version will also benefit from some of these updates!
