Julian Lennon, ‘Yellowstone’ Actor Mo Brings Plenty Unveil ‘Love the Earth’ Animated Series at SXSW London

Julian Lennon is leaving an impression in the world of children’s entertainment as he introduces “Love the Earth,” a brand-new animated show, during SXSW London.

The show intends to merge Indigenous folklore with environmental advocacy for a youthful demographic, inspired by Lennon’s acclaimed “Touch the Earth” book series co-written with Bart Davis. Directed by Jean-Paul Mertinez and co-produced by Meena Khera, “Love the Earth” utilizes wildlife modeling, real-time animation, lush 3D settings, and immersive audio design. This production is brought to you by Compassionate Studios in the U.K., with Lennon, Davis, Lyndon Haviland, Rebecca Warfield, and Forest Trends serving as executive producers.

Erica Spellman Silverman negotiated the screen rights for Robert Gottlieb, who was represented by Trident Media Group.

Upon finishing, “Love the Earth” is set to debut globally on YouTube, aiming to establish itself as a novel type of family entertainment that prioritizes purpose and global awareness, as its creators describe it.

The series was debuted in a discussion named “Embrace the Earth: Animation with a Purpose,” gathering a group of contributors such as the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk, Mertinez, and Yellowstone actor Mo Brings Plenty.

Lennon stated, ‘We’re not merely spinning tales; we’re fostering Earth champions, step by adventure.’ He emphasized, ‘Our planet requires care; the children embody that compassion.’

The start of the event featured a solemn Lakota chant performed by Brings Plenty, our indigenous consultant on this project.

One of the initial voice appearances includes Deepak Chopra, who captivated viewers as an enlightened, endangered Indian tiger, guiding children through breathing exercises and meditation sessions. Sadie Frost and Raff Law are slated to voice a mother-son duo navigating a mystical forest, while renowned chef Suvir Saran is set to contribute his voice to a critically endangered Spoon-billed Sandpiper character.

This show highlights rare animal species and delicate environments, with a strong focus on Indigenous perspectives and global cultural practices. Every episode is rooted in genuine ecosystems and enriched by traditional wisdom shared by local communities.

Davis stated that every child deserves a thriving Earth,” he expressed, “and our shared humanity is our most precious inheritance.

As a cinema enthusiast, I’d eagerly share that the team behind this project is making a bold step by inviting filmmakers, nature conservationists, and environmental narrators worldwide to contribute authentic footage from our beautiful planet – showcasing wildlife, ecosystems, and community-led climate solutions for possible integration into their series. This blend of animation and reality promises an immersive and impactful viewing experience.

As a passionate cinephile, I’m thrilled to share that our venture has forged its initial significant creative alliance with the renowned Indian conservationist and filmmaker, Mike Pandey, alongside Riverbank Studios.

Following the event’s conclusion, I, being an ardent cinephile, had the privilege of encountering royalty unexpectedly at SXSW London. That’s right, none other than King Charles himself! In this gathering, I found myself in the esteemed company of Lennon, Brings Plenty, Martinez, and Türk. What a truly unforgettable experience!
