Julia Fox to Star in LGBTQ Romantic Drama ‘Perfect’ (EXCLUSIVE)

As a seasoned film enthusiast with a keen eye for captivating narratives and electrifying performances, I find myself utterly enthralled by the upcoming project, “Perfect.” The cast alone is a testament to the power of diversity and fresh talent, with Julia Fox, Ashley Moore, and Micaela Wittman leading the charge.

Julia Fox, the rising star best known for her role in the tension-filled movie “Uncut Gems” by the Safdie Brothers, is set to be a part of the forthcoming romantic film titled “Perfect.”

In a forthcoming project, she will be acting alongside Ashley Moore (“I Know What You Did Last Summer”) and rising star Micaela Wittman. Millicent Hailes, known for directing music videos for notable artists like Pussy Riot, Billie Eilish, Tinashe, Alok Vaid-Menon, and Mia Khalifa, is taking charge of the film as her first feature. Filming is set to start next month.

The story unfolds at a scenic yet neglected lakeside resort nestled within the California mountains, where the effects of climate change have tainted the water sources. In this setting, Mia Fox portrays a wealthy, pregnant woman seeking escape from reality. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she finds herself drawn to a younger woman (portrayed by Moore). Their blossoming romance faces challenges due to her impending birth, escalating social issues, and conflicting perspectives on the precarious state of our planet’s future.

I, as a keen observer, am eagerly anticipating Wittman’s captivating portrayal of a local guide in the town, assisting Moore’s character navigate the challenges that arise from her complex romantic journey with Fox’s character. It’s also intriguing to note that discussions are underway for Lio Mehiel (“Mutt”) and Debi Mazar (“Younger,” “Goodfellas”) to become part of this fascinating cast.

Nathan Scherrer together with Tara Sheree from Freenjoy Productions (known for “Jennifer Lopez – This Is Me… Now: The Love Story”) will team up with Douglas Riggs and Tyler Payne of Steak and Rosé, as well as Liz Cardenas (“A Ghost Story”) to produce this project.

In the upcoming months, you’ll likely spot Fox appearing in two diverse projects: the ghost drama “Presence,” directed by Steven Soderbergh and featuring Lucy Liu, as well as the sports-themed horror thriller “Him,” produced by Jordan Peele under Monkeypaw. Her representation includes Framework Entertainment, Envisionary Management, WME, The Initiative Group, and Schreck Rose Dapello Adams Berlin & Dunham.
