A popular manga series recently fell from the number one position in the official sales rankings, although it still holds many other top spots on the chart.
The latest rankings from ICv2 show that Chainsaw Man Vol. 20 is now the best-selling manga in the United States, surpassing Jujutsu Kaisen. This makes it the top adult graphic novel in the U.S. for March 2026.
Notably, Jujutsu Kaisen remains the most popular series, with half of all the spots on the list belonging to the franchise. The Jujutsu Kaisen manga alone took positions two, three, six, twelve, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, and twenty, leaving very few places for other series.
You can find the complete list of top 20 series – including popular titles like One Piece, Dragon Ball Super, Solo Leveling, and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure – below.

Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen first appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2014 and rapidly gained popularity as one of the most talked-about series of the last decade. The story takes place in a world filled with Cursed Energy, a spiritual power possessed by all living things, and centers on a character who bravely swallows a severed finger, unknowingly becoming the home to the powerful, ancient sorcerer Ryomen Sukuna.
This begins a dangerous journey where Yuji must find and consume all 20 of Sukuna’s fingers to avoid execution, with the ultimate goal of permanently defeating the powerful, ancient sorcerer. The original Jujutsu Kaisen manga concluded after 30 volumes in 2024, but it’s still gaining popularity thanks to the continuing anime adaptation from the studio MAPPA.
The anime series Jujutsu Kaisen launched in 2020 and quickly became a huge hit, earning widespread praise from critics. Currently, the series, animated by MAPPA (the studio also known for Chainsaw Man), has a remarkable 4.9 out of 5 stars on Crunchyroll, based on over 763,000 viewer reviews.
The franchise is currently enjoying a surge in popularity largely thanks to the recent conclusion of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 in March. The day before the final episode aired, MAPPA announced they will adapt the next part of the story, the Culling Game, promising more exciting content for fans.
As a huge fan, I was completely gripped by the Culling Game arc in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga! It spanned a massive stretch – chapters 143 to 271 – and it was just brutal. Basically, the villain Kenjaku forced a ton of characters into a deadly battle royale, all in a twisted attempt to push humanity and Cursed Energy to the next level. And the third season of the anime finally brought it to life, culminating in what I think is one of the most shocking and intense endings the series has ever given us!
I’m a huge fan of both Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man! If you’re looking to read the manga in English, Viz Media is the place to go. And for the amazing anime adaptations, you can stream them right now on Crunchyroll – seriously, you won’t regret it!
