Jude Law, Andrew Garfield to Play Siegfried & Roy in Apple Limited Series ‘Wild Things’

Actors Jude Law and Andrew Garfield are set to lead the cast of an upcoming Apple TV+ limited series based on the lives of renowned magicians Siegfried & Roy, as we’ve discovered.

Back in 2022, it was initially announced that a television series consisting of eight episodes was being developed at Apple. This series is inspired by the Apple Original Podcast titled “Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy.” It has been confirmed that Law will portray Siegfried, while Garfield will take on the role of Roy. Filming is expected to start in the autumn season.

The show’s official tagline reveals that it narrates the thrilling love story between two legendary magicians-showmen, along with their white tigers. They are on a mission to transform Sin City into a family-oriented location. As they test the boundaries of illusion and reality in both their personal and professional lives, they take it to an extreme limit. However, a tragic event occurs which sets off a chain of events that shrouds their final Las Vegas performance in mystery.

John Hoffman created the TV show and will assume roles as the executive producer, head writer, and director. Both Law and Garfield will also serve as executive producers, in addition to acting in the series. Matt Shakman is set to produce and direct the initial episode. Brian Grazer, Kristen Zolner, and Natalie Berkus will produce for Imagine Entertainment, with Tony Leondis and Kathy Ciric also serving as producers. Will Malnati, creator of “Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy,” is involved in producing the project along with Steven Leckart, who authored, narrated, and produced the podcast for At Will Media.

Most recently, Law appeared in the Disney+ “Star Wars” series titled “Skeleton Crew.” Previously, he graced our screens in shows such as “The Young Pope” and “The Third Day,” and is set to appear next in the Netflix series “Black Rabbit,” alongside Jason Bateman. While Law has made a significant impact on the big screen, with roles in successful films like “The Talented Mr. Ripley,” “Closer,” and “Cold Mountain,” he truly rose to fame for these performances. Notably, he was nominated for an Academy Award for his roles in both “The Talented Mr. Ripley” and “Cold Mountain.
