Interestingly, preorders for Joy-Con 2 have not been available at most major retailers. The first time the $95 set was seen in stock was earlier this week at Target, but it’s unclear if this was an error since the inventory quickly vanished. The same situation has occurred with the Joy-Con 2 Charging Grip, which features back buttons, similar to those on the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller that has been on sale for over a month at select retailers.

Tonight, you should be able to buy the Joy-Con 2 Controller Sets and Charging Grip from Walmart, as they’re expected to restock their Nintendo Switch 2 inventory around 9 PM Pacific Time. Additionally, Walmart may also replenish their stock of the Mario Kart World Joy-Con 2 Wheel Set. At the moment, Target has the Wheel Set in stock, but it’s currently sold out at Best Buy and Walmart.
