On Saturday, it was confirmed by the San Antonio police that Jonathan Joss, known for his role as John Redcorn on “King of the Hill,” tragically passed away due to a shooting. He was 59 years old.
On Sunday evening, law enforcement officials from San Antonio responded to a report of an ongoing shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Joss close to the roadway and initiated life-saving efforts until paramedics could arrive. Sadly, he was declared deceased at the scene.
The individual responsible for the shooting was apprehended by police and charged with homicide, as the investigation into the incident continues.
Joss provided the voice for John Redcorn on “King of the Hill” from Seasons 2 to 13, and he’s already recorded dialogue for the forthcoming reboot of this well-loved animated show. Additionally, his acting talents have been featured in shows like “Parks and Recreation,” “Tulsa King,” “Ray Donovan,” and numerous others.
