Jon Stewart Slams Donald Trump for Releasing Fragrance Ad Featuring Jill Biden: ‘I Find it Hard to Believe I’m Saying This, but It’s Beneath You’

As a long-time fan of Jon Stewart, I’ve always admired his ability to blend humor with social commentary in a way that makes even the most complex political issues accessible and entertaining. This latest episode of “The Daily Show” is no exception.

On the broadcast of “The Daily Show” on Monday, Jon Stewart criticized President-elect Donald Trump for putting out an advertisement for a perfume that featured First Lady Jill Biden.

Apparently, Trump was seen accompanying his predecessor’s wife, Jill Biden, to the opening of the Notre Dame Cathedral. This moment of unity could have brought hope to the country if not for the returning president swiftly undercutting it by releasing a cologne advertisement that trivialized and objectified the very event.

On Saturday, Trump and Biden were spotted together at the reopening ceremony of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, a landmark that was badly damaged by a fire in 2019. A picture of them soon circulated online, and Trump later used this image for an advertisement promoting his latest line of perfumes, which he shared on Truth Social on Sunday.

The advertisement states, “An Irresistible Scent Even for Your Foes,” with bold text below an image featuring Trump and Biden, captured during their reopening event.

In a recent social media post on Truth Social, Trump announced his latest line of fragrances titled “Fight, Fight, Fight.” He explained that these perfumes and colognes symbolize victory, which is something we strive for together. He suggested they would make perfect holiday gifts for the whole family.

In the post, Donald Trump posted a link directing people to the Trump Fragrances’ official site, where you can buy their perfumes for approximately $199 each.

You truly triumphed!” Stewart declared amidst the crowd’s jeers. “Now you’re free from promoting merchandise. It’s difficult for me to express this, but I must say it: it’s no longer fitting for you.
