This surge in popularity is being celebrated by the opening of a new store, and the creator of the franchise is commemorating the event with a striking pair of newly released images perfect for taking photos.

Hirohiko Araki unveiled two fresh character illustrations from “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” as a build-up to the launch of THE★JOJO WORLD coming up this year. The picture showcases two significant characters from the series, stirring speculation that more drawings featuring other members of the Joestar family might be on the way, given that the store’s opening is drawing near. This year, 2025, has been particularly momentous for “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure,” with the buzz surrounding its anime adaptation being especially noteworthy.

JoJo’s World, the first permanent official store dedicated to JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, is set to open on the 6th floor of Shibuya PARCO this summer. The creator of the franchise, Hirohiko Araki, unveiled an image featuring the series’ heroes standing by a spiral staircase when the store was announced. Recently, a new image has emerged, showcasing unique drawings for two characters – Jonathan Joestar and Giorno Giovanna. Fans have been quick to recognize these iconic figures, despite some changes in their appearance. While their overall designs are somewhat familiar, particularly Giorno’s, they sport different color schemes. Jonathan now sports reddish-brown hair and is depicted without a shirt, wearing contemporary trousers. Giorno, on the other hand, has purple-blue-gray hair and wears a slightly reddened version of his typical open-chest outfit.

In the last picture, we counted 12 main characters, indicating that there could be six more illustrations similar to the recent one featuring Giorno and Jonathan. These images, along with other special collectibles for fans of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, are expected to be available at THE★JOJO WORLD. The first permanent JoJo store was opened in 2025, and that same year also brought the announcement of a new story arc titled “Part 7” in the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga. Starting from May 27, 2025, this manga will be available in the U.S. Additionally, a movie adaptation has been confirmed, making 2025 one of the most exciting years for the JoJo franchise’s fanbase.
