JoJo Siwa’s 2025 summer tour is encountering criticism following the announcement of an expensive VIP package, which requires fans to contribute towards setting up the concert venues after she made this revelation as a Dance Moms alumna.
JoJo Siwa, who became well-known on YouTube during her teen years, has recently undergone a significant change in her career path. Over the past year, she’s moved away from her signature glittery and bow-adorned look and has instead embraced a more mature, adult-oriented image.
Following the launch of her fresh music in 2024, which gained massive popularity due to her distinctive dance routines, JoJo Siwa has started preparing for a summer 2025 tour across various U.S. cities. However, there’s an intriguing aspect about these performances that’s causing fans some concern.

JoJo Siwa fans can pay $900 to help her set up her concerts
According to an interview with Access Hollywood in March 2025, JoJo’s summer tour starting on July 10 in Houston, Texas, includes a unique VIP experience offering the chance to participate in hands-on work.
Sierra clarified that you’ll have the opportunity to join us before the show starts, assisting in setup, ensuring everything is in order, and even testing out the drums with me or the DJ equipment if you prefer.

A glance at JoJo’s official tour website reveals that the “Dream Guest VIP” package grants access to an exclusive pre-show event where you can witness JoJo’s setup before her Q&A and soundcheck. Additionally, this package allows you to contribute to the show’s song selection alongside JoJo.
In no time at all, this information made its way through various social media platforms, with users expressing swift criticism towards the former Dance Moms star, as they perceived her as soliciting her followers to work for her in exchange for payment.
“Paying $900 to move equipment around for her before she even arrives,” one wrote on X.
“This feels like a $900 health and safety risk experience,” another said.

“Oh gee, what a generous offer to the fans,” another sarcastically remarked.
So far, JoJo hasn’t given a formal reply to the criticism about her VIP package. However, in a TikTok video posted on March 27th, she invited fans to view the tour as both a concert and an after-party, with interactive moments for the audience.
Despite some skepticism from online users following JoJo’s significant image transformation in 2024, she continues to maintain a large fan base who embrace her latest style. They dismiss the criticism, expressing that it will not cause them to dislike her.
