Joey Swoll says gym video led to teenager getting bullied
Yesterday, I received a distressing video from the father of a 14-year-old boy. The video was taken inside an LA Fitness locker room. A man, who was filming himself workout, accidentally captured the boy looking at him in the background. The man then intentionally zoomed in on the boy several times, using him as part of his video and mocking him.
As reported by Swoll, the viral video attracted numerous jokes aimed at the boy. These jokes were not missed by students at his high school.
The boy’s video was watched by a few students from his school, resulting in what the father described as severe harassment and bullying, causing the boy to no longer wish to attend the gym, according to him.

Joey Swoll mentioned that he plans to talk to the boy’s father on a call, hoping to find ways to assist his child.
If they reside proximally, Swoll plans to take the 14-year-old to the gym along with him, hoping it will alleviate his fear about returning.
Joey expressed, “Nobody, not even a young person, should endure such hardships as this child has, nor should they be captured on film in a locker room setting. That’s a firm no, full stop. I’ll provide an update later.
