Renowned podcast personality and UFC commentator Joe Rogan has weighed in on the popular Apple TV+ series Severance following his first viewing.
Joe Rogan typically focuses on topics related to his podcast, the Joe Rogan Experience, but occasionally, he finds it hard to keep quiet about other intriguing subjects and shares his opinions.
Regarding either his carnivore diet or mixed martial arts, Joe Rogan usually keeps his opinions on heated subjects for his JRE podcast. However, when it comes to the show “Severance”, he felt compelled to express his review.
Throughout the ongoing second season, Rogan expressed his fondness for the show in two different Instagram posts as well as on platform X, emphasizing his affection for the series.
Joe Rogan freaks out after binging Severance
In a nutshell, the TV series directed by Ben Stiller, doesn’t reveal much about its plot, but it focuses on the character Mark Scout and the division between his professional memories at Lumon Industries and those from his personal life.
According to Joe Rogan, this idea makes it a great reason for fans to explore the show, as he finds it truly exceptional.
I’m utterly captivated by ‘Severance’. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen before, with a freshness that keeps me guessing. The writing, direction, and acting are exceptional, making it a truly one-of-a-kind experience. I’ve just finished season one and can’t wait to dive into season 2 on @AppleTV.

Man, I’ve gotta say, that show I just binge-watched is unlike anything I’ve ever seen! Fresh ideas, unexpected twists, and top-notch performances all around. The writing, directing, and acting were spot-on. Now I can’t wait to dive into season two on Apple TV!
Some spectators found themselves taken aback by Joe’s perspective on Severance, leading some to question whether his endorsement might be financially motivated.
“Is this a paid promotional tweet… or do you just really like the show?” one asked.
Many people agreed with Rogan’s viewpoint and labeled Severance as top-notch TV that could well be remembered as one of the “finer series from the past two decades.

It’s uncertain whether Rogan will invite the duo onto his show, but if Joe finds Season Two as enjoyable as he did Season One, there’s a good chance we might see an episode of JRE about Severance in the coming days.
