Actress Jenna Fischer, who portrayed Pam Beesly over 188 episodes of the beloved NBC sitcom “The Office”, recently went through every single episode (all 201 of them) and chronicled her experience on her podcast called “Office Ladies”. She completed this project in October, and on the podcast “Fly on the Wall” hosted by Dana Carvey and David Spade, she revealed a significant insight she gained from this journey.

In summary, after watching it again, Fischer felt that the movie was excellent throughout.

Fischer discovered during a recent rewatch that it was widely believed the quality of the series declined significantly after Steve Carell left in Season 7. However, she now thinks this belief may be incorrect.

Fischer mentioned a common opinion among the cast and crew that perhaps the show reached its pinnacle in Seasons 3 or 4. Additionally, there was a belief that the seasons following Steve’s departure lacked the same quality. However, upon rewatching all episodes, Fischer found some of his favorite stories unfolded in Seasons 8 and 9, even after Steve had left.
