A number of livestreamers at the FaZe content house found themselves annoyed when their home was targeted by a SWAT team during an investigation, resulting in a search and disruption of their live broadcasts.
Swatting, which involves making false emergency calls to get a SWAT team dispatched to someone’s home, is unfortunately something high-profile content creators often encounter. Notable personalities like Kai Cenat, IShowSpeed, xQc, among others, have fallen victim to these harmful pranks throughout their careers.
Swatting involves someone making a hoax emergency call, typically pretending there’s a serious, potentially deadly incident at another person’s residence. The goal is to trick law enforcement into sending multiple armed officers to that person’s home.
FaZe Clan swatted in the middle of 30-day subathon
On April 3rd, 2025, the residence of FaZe Clan’s founder was subjected to a hoax SWAT operation, occurring during a live Warzone stream featuring StableRonaldo and FaZe Adapt.

Audience members overheard officers shouting commands from outside the house, asking influencers to come out with their hands raised. Upon stepping away from his live-streaming equipment, Stableronaldo’s camera captured an officer investigating his bedroom, causing viewers to express surprise.

Following the incident, Jason-the-Ween went back to arranging his things in his room, mentioning that officers had scattered his possessions while conducting a search.
I’m positive someone strolled through my sanctuary, as my wardrobe lies scattered across the floor, and my gaming setup’s out of whack. There’s a mess strewn about. Officers, could you kindly show some consideration and tidy up a bit while you’re at it?
It seems you’re all diligently working, but good heavens, I didn’t commit any wrongdoing! Unfortunately, they carelessly discarded the pile of clothing I had placed in the laundry basket onto the floor instead.
Jason the Gamer disclosed that when the SWAT team raided the FaZe House, they left his room in disarray, scattering his clothing and belongings across the floor. Poor guy 😞

The incident occurred during their 30-day streaming marathon (subathon), specifically on its third day. Fortunately, the streamers remained safe throughout the ordeal. However, this event joins a series of violent encounters targeting content creators over the past few weeks.
For example, well-known Twitch broadcaster Amouranth was assaulted with a pistol by three masked burglars who broke into her house to take her crypto wallet. Meanwhile, streamers Valkyrae, Cinna, and Emiru experienced threats and intimidation from a fan during a scary live broadcast at Santa Monica Pier.
In March, Emiru encountered a stalker during one of her live streams towards the end of the month. The repeated occurrence of such incidents has left people wondering why this is happening, and it’s causing quite a few content creators to feel anxious about leaving their homes. However, as the FaZe swatting incident demonstrates, even staying at home may not guarantee safety.
