Twitch streamer Jasontheween and his girlfriend, Sakura, have broken up. He announced the split publicly on February 9, 2026.
Jason announced on X around 10 AM Pacific Time that he and his partner had broken up, describing it as a friendly split and asking for privacy as they adjust.
We’ve broken up, Sakura and I,” he announced. “We still care deeply for each other and will continue to be supportive friends. We’re both thankful for the good times we had together.

Jason announced the news on X and then explained on his Twitch stream that the split was amicable and no one was to blame.
He insisted that no cheating occurred and that the rumors weren’t true. He and Sakura have broken up, but he has a lot of respect for her, acknowledging she was a huge support and his biggest fan.

He said they continue to respect and support each other. He also expressed gratitude for their friendship, saying she was truly his best friend.
I was really surprised to hear Jason say he’d been thinking about this for a while. He feels like it’s best for both of us to move forward separately so we can each grow as individuals, without holding each other back.
Jasontheween and Sakura’s relationship timeline
Jason and Sakura became a popular couple after attending Streamer Prom together in June 2025. Their relationship has been widely covered by the media ever since.
A kiss they shared on camera quickly led to rumors about a secret romance. Things intensified when Jason contacted Sakura’s sister, Kyedae—a well-known Twitch streamer—to ask for her blessing to date Sakura, and told her he felt incredibly lucky to have taken her to prom.
Over the next few months, Jason and his partner kept their relationship private. Many fans and fellow streamers followed their romance closely, so it came as a surprise when they broke up in August 2025. Jason explained they needed space to focus on their well-being.
Despite their earlier split, the couple reunited in October, but had kept it quiet until then. They asked fans not to overanalyze their relationship and explained they planned to be more private going forward.
Jason and Sakura recently broke up, following Kyedae’s split from TenZ. Because these events happened close together, and Sakura and Kyedae are sisters, fans quickly started spreading rumors, which TenZ strongly denied in multiple online posts.
