Two slasher icons are preparing to share the screen.
In an exclusive reveal, it has been unveiled that Kane Hodder, famously known for his role as Jason Voorhees in four “Friday the 13th” movies, and Bill Moseley, star of “Devil’s Rejects,” are joining forces to appear in a chilling new horror-thriller titled “Covet.
According to the given summary, “A used-car dealer, known for his unscrupulous ways, gets falsely accused of killing his lover. In order to clear his name, he embarks on a quest to uncover the truth, which leads him to discover that the culprits behind this crime might not be ordinary humans.
Brian McQuery’s ‘Covet’, out now, is his second film following the release of ‘Plea’ last year, which featured actress Heather Lagenkamp from ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ in the lead role.”
“Brian McQuery’s latest movie, titled ‘Covet’, is his second directorial venture. His first film was ‘Plea’, which came out last year and had Heather Lagenkamp from ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ in the main role.
McQuery expressed his excitement about collaborating with Kane, who will be utilized effectively due to his imposing demeanor and wit in our project. I’m eagerly anticipating Bill Moseley’s performance as Sheriff Troy,” McQuery stated.
The film ‘Covet’ was created by Spyder Dobrofsky under his production company, Worlds Apart. Previously, Dobrofsky directed the horror thriller ‘The Weeping,’ featuring Doug Jones, Reggie Lee, and Chase Demoor, which is currently in post-production and scheduled for a 2025 release. Additionally, Dobrofsky directed the 2024 film ‘Down Below,’ starring Eric Roberts and Bai Ling.
Kane Hodder and Bill Moseley teaming up on-screen, alongside Brian’s groundbreaking script, is just the horror experience we’ve been eagerly anticipating at Worlds Apart. We’re thrilled to help bring Brian’s imaginative concept to reality, delivering the chills, frights, and nostalgia that horror fans crave,” Dobrofsky expressed in a statement.
Beyond my love for the “Friday the 13th” saga, I’ve also brought life to the terrifying Victor Crowley in the “Hatchet” series. Known widely as Chop Top from the beloved cult classic “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2”, I’ve also made my mark in Rob Zombie’s cinematic universe.
