Jason Isaacs Says to Fans ‘The White Lotus’ On Set Drama Is ‘None Of Your Business’: ‘Nobody Has Any Clue’

Following the conclusion of “The White Lotus” Season 3, Jason Isaacs is clarifying misconceptions about any behind-the-scenes turmoil that may have been circulating.

Just as any summer destination brings friendships, romances, disagreements, and shifting social groups, it’s the same with where I am,” Isaacs shared during a discussion on SiriusXM’s “The Happy Hour” on April 9. “I take precautions; I’m not naive. I monitor what’s happening online.

The remarks were made following Isaac’s characterization of the set as a blend of a summer camp and “Lord of the Flies,” albeit within a golden prison. Additionally, Mike White has voiced criticisms towards the composer after a disagreement regarding the season’s musical direction.

Isaacs stated, ‘No one seems to understand what they’re discussing, it just appears that way because many others join in.’ Essentially, nobody truly knows what they’re talking about,” he added.

Regarding his statements made to Vulture, Isaacs made clear: “Firstly, it’s not your concern. Let me assure you, it felt like work more than anything else. It was incredibly hot, and there were all the usual social pressures you encounter in any setting.

Previously during the season, Isaacs drew attention following his interview on “CBS Mornings” where he discussed the “unfair treatment towards men” regarding full-frontal nudity. He pointed out that if Margaret Qualley, among others, appeared naked in ‘The Substance’, people wouldn’t dare to question her about private parts such as genitalia or nipples.

Later, he took the opportunity to explain more about his remarks, speaking to EbMaster: “I chose the incorrect words and expressed them improperly. I employed the term ‘double standard,’ but I did not intend that at all.
