Japanese Man’s Dream Ferrari Burns to Ashes Just an Hour After Buying It!

For over a decade, a renowned Japanese music producer named Honkon meticulously saved up to purchase his cherished dream vehicle, a Ferrari. Unfortunately, barely an hour after taking possession of this luxury car, it was tragically reduced to ashes by fire.

For more than a decade, a 33-year-old automobile enthusiast diligently saved up to buy his long-desired sports car, specifically a Ferrari 458 Spider. Despite not disclosing the exact model year, this vehicle could only be purchased between the years 2011 and 2015, as it was subsequently replaced by the 458 Speciale.

I must admit, this baby isn’t exactly budget-friendly! When it first hit the U.S. market, its starting price tag was a cool $249,000. And let me tell you, if you want to customize it to your heart’s content, that figure can easily climb higher based on the specific features you choose.

Following his successful purchase, Honkon decided to explore Tokyo’s Minato district by taking his new vehicle out for a spin. However, within just an hour of hitting the road, misfortune befell him as his car suddenly caught fire while he was driving it.

Ferrari burns down after just an hour

In a post on X, Honkon lamented that his brand-new Ferrari was reduced to cinders just an hour after it was delivered. He jokingly remarked that he might be the only one in all of Japan to have encountered such an unusual predicament.

The driver stated that he emerged from the fire without any harm, and later responded to one of his social media followers about that experience.

“I thought it was going to explode, and I was really scared,” he added.

As a gamer, I was overwhelmed seeing the influx of messages from fellow gamers expressing their relief and joy that the music producer is doing well. It seemed like everyone who commented shared the same positive vibe, glad to know he’s safe and sound.

At the time of this writing, the reason behind the fire remains a mystery, yet it’s evident that he hadn’t been in an accident prior to the fire breaking out.

In March, a live streamer on Kick became popular when the highly modified Corvette of one of his friends caught fire during a donut stunt in an unoccupied parking lot.

Konvy continued streaming live while a fire consumed the entire vehicle, and he also shared footage of the following scene before it was hauled off.
