Jamie Oliver Series Land at Tastemade in Fremantle Deal (EXCLUSIVE)

As a seasoned foodie and traveler who has dined in some of the world’s most renowned restaurants and cooked in kitchens across continents, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the latest acquisition by Tastemade! The addition of six lifestyle series starring the legendary Jamie Oliver is an absolute game-changer.

Food production company Tastemade, operating independently, has obtained rights to six lifestyle programs featuring renowned chef Jamie Oliver for the United States market, in collaboration with Fremantle.

Three titles among those recently obtained will have their first U.S. showings on Tastemade’s streaming platform in August. “Jamie Oliver’s Mediterranean Cooking” starts on Aug. 5, featuring Jamie Oliver’s journey through various Mediterranean cuisines. The next day, Aug. 6, brings “Jamie Oliver’s Simple Mediterranean Meals,” which presents easy recipes infused with Mediterranean tastes. Lastly, “The Great Cookbook Challenge with Jamie Oliver” premieres on Aug. 17, introducing a cooking competition setup.

Tastemade, celebrated for its multiple industry accolades such as three Emmy Awards and three James Beard Awards, captivates a worldwide audience through streaming and mobile devices with food, travel, and home design material.

Under the terms of the deal, individuals who sign up for a new annual Tastemade+ subscription will be given a complimentary copy of Oliver’s newest cookbook, “5 Ingredients Mediterranean,” as part of their membership. This offer grants them uninterrupted access to the platform’s extensive collection of over 1,000 hours of programming and 12,000 recipes.

As a food enthusiast and long-time fan of Jamie Oliver’s culinary expertise, I couldn’t be more elated to hear that Tastemade, under the guidance of their head of programming, Jay Holzer, has secured the rights to bring Jamie’s latest shows to American audiences for the very first time. Having grown up watching him on television and being inspired by his passion for food and cooking, this partnership between Tastemade and Fremantle is a dream come true for me. I eagerly anticipate the arrival of these new programs and am confident that they will not only satisfy my hunger for knowledgeable and entertaining cooking shows but also delight countless other viewers who share my love for all things culinary.

Zoe Collins, head of Jamie Oliver Media Group, stated: “In our efforts to strengthen Jamie’s presence in the U.S., I’m thrilled about collaborating with Tastemade, who are renowned in the food industry. This fresh partnership will showcase Jamie’s distinctive culinary approach and his inspiring, user-friendly recipes to an expanded and enthusiastic audience throughout America.”

Fremantle has been Oliver’s global distribution partner since 2002.
