Based on a now-deleted post by Gunn, as mentioned by the San Diego Comic-Con Unofficial Blog, Gunn and the team behind Peacemaker Season 2 are expected to attend the 2025 convention for a discussion about Peacemaker Season 2.

In his post, Gunn shared an exclusive graphic displaying John Cena’s character, Peacemaker, fully dressed up in his costume, accompanied by the official emblem of the San Diego Comic-Con event.
The complete lineup of actors for the Peacemaker event hasn’t been disclosed just yet, but spectators can probably anticipate seeing Cena, Jenifer Holland (playing Emilia Harcourt), Freddie Stroma (as Adrian Chase), and Danielle Brooks (in the role of Leota Adebayo). It’s also plausible that Brey Noelle, a fresh face in Peacemaker, who is portraying White Rabbit – a Batman adversary – might make an appearance.
In contrast to its first season, Peacemaker’s second season is set to debut on a unique schedule for streaming on HBO Max on August 21, 2025. This series will be the second title to stream from the new DCU, following the release of Creature Commandos.
