Amy Pascal (known for Spider-Man, Challengers, and the upcoming Greta Gerwig-directed Narnia film) and David Heyman (famous for Harry Potter) will produce it together. Courtenay Valenti, Amazon’s head of films, expressed in a statement that they are treating every creative decision regarding James Bond with great care, following the exceptional work done by Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson in steering the series. She went on to say that Amy Pascal and David Heyman are two highly accomplished, experienced, and respected film producers within the industry.
Earlier, Amy Pascal served as the chairperson at Sony Pictures Entertainment, where she managed the screenings of films like Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, and Skyfall. In a shared statement, she and David Heyman expressed their admiration for James Bond, stating that he is one of cinema’s most legendary characters. They went on to say they felt privileged to carry on the work of Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson, who produced so many outstanding films, and were eager to continue the Bond legacy as the character embarks on his next adventure. The upcoming announcement regarding the selection of the next James Bond is fast approaching. Given that Amy Pascal has a strong rapport with Tom Holland and Zendaya, they could potentially be in consideration for the role if brainstorming ideas are being explored.
