Jake Paul is now taking action against alleged falsehoods about his boxing journey, with his lawyers planning to firmly challenge those who criticize him.
Ever since Jake Paul entered the realm of boxing, there’s been a significant allegation about his fights – people say they’re staged or not genuine. Detractors have closely scrutinized his initial bouts with Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren, suggesting that these MMA fighters were involved in scripted matches.
During the lead-up to their battles against Tommy Fury and Mike Tyson, rumors circulated suggesting they each had pre-written plans or instructions to adhere to. However, this notion was presumably dispelled when Fury defeated Jake. Yet, these whispers persisted.
The former YouTube personality, now professional boxer, has repeatedly refuted certain allegations and has garnered backing from several boxing experts. Following his victory over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., he’s stepping up his response strategy even more.
Jake Paul ready to sue over ‘fake’ fight claims
On June 28, Jake emerged victorious by a unanimous decision against the previous WBC middleweight champion. Yet, following his win, some social media users speculated that the outcome was fixed because the Mexican contender didn’t land many punches during the initial rounds and started throwing them only in the final three rounds.
Those claims, naturally, got onto the YouTube superstar’s radar after the victory.
Following years of dismissing such behavior as mere haters, I’ve instructed my team to aggressively counter any false accusations about my boxing history. Be prepared for some legal action coming your way, misinformers,” he wrote on platform X (previously known as Twitter).
After a long time, I’ve decided not to ignore false accusations about my boxing career anymore. My team and I will now actively investigate and take action against those spreading such lies. You might find yourselves on the receiving end of our response.

I, too, shared a post from Nakisa Bidarian, the CEO of Most Valuable Promotions, following his rebuttal against unfounded and reckless accusations by Piers Morgan regarding the authenticity of my fights.
It’s time for a change. We are investigating every possible course of action, even taking it to court, to bring justice against those who intentionally disseminate false and damaging information,” Bidarian stated.
Jake’s victory is expected to lead to his inclusion in the Cruiserweight division rankings by the WBC, a requirement for his upcoming fight against Badou Jack to proceed.
