Boxing star Jake Paul, who was once a popular YouTuber, and speed skating’s current world champion, Jutta Leerdam, have made an exciting announcement: they are now engaged!
In 2023, the pair who had started their relationship, made an announcement on March 22 via a joint Instagram post featuring pictures from their proposal.
In the post, titled “We’re engaged! Can’t wait to spend eternity together,“,” there was much joy as it reached their 33 million followers. The pictures revealed Jake Paul proposing on a beautiful balcony, decorated with white petals, flowers, and candles.
As I stood there, camera in hand, I snapped a shot that would forever freeze a magical moment: the instant Paul dropped to one knee. Other photos showcased the dazzling diamond ring he’d chosen for us, along with our joyous reaction, as we showered petals into the air like a scene straight out of a fairy tale.
When did Jake Paul and Jutta Leerdam get together?
Paul and Leerdam have been a couple for two years now, having initially connected on Instagram back in 2023 following the end of their respective relationships. At that time, Paul was separating from his partner Julia Rose, while Leerdam had parted ways with Dutch speed skater Koen Verweij in August 2022.

They grew extremely close very quickly, deciding to share a home in Puerto Rico, and frequently jetting off to Europe and America. On various social media platforms, they often posted snippets of their travels and strengthening connection.
A few months ago, Paul publicly declared on a podcast that Leerdam is his “special someone,” also suggesting they were considering starting a family together.
Jake’s engagement happened not too long ago, approximately two years following his elder brother, Logan Paul, popping the question to model Nina Agdal. With their wedding approaching quickly, the Paul family is full of joy and celebration.
