Italian Producer Andrea Iervolino Parts Ways With Business Partner Monika Bacardi to Launch New Solo Outfit

As a supporter, I am thrilled to see the dynamic and ambitious journey of Andrea Iervolino unfold. This Italian powerhouse, who started setting up local websites at 13 and earned a co-executive producer credit at 17, has consistently proven his versatility and resilience in the world of entertainment. His partnership with Monika Bacardi under ILBE was fruitful, producing diverse projects from “Ferrari” to “Waiting for the Barbarians.

Italian producer Andrea Iervolino — whose credits include Michael Mann’s “Ferrari,” the Johnny Depp-starrer “Waiting for the Barbarians” and “Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend” — has parted ways with business partner Monika Bacardi and is launching a new film and TV outfit called The Andrea Iervolino Company.

Iervolino and Bacardi were business associates at ILBE, a production company they established together and managed jointly for 13 years.

Iervolino has chosen to leave his position as president and CEO at ILBE, the studio he helped establish a decade ago, to concentrate on TAIC. He stated this in an announcement, adding that he will still be reachable, though not exclusively, to guide ILBE through the process of finding a new CEO.

The statement didn’t offer any explanation as to why it seems like Iervolino and Bacardi have had a disagreement.

In his tenure at ILBE, Iervolino has been involved in creating several new films. Among these are “Modi – Three Days on the Wings of Madness,” directed by Johnny Depp and featuring Al Pacino; the sequel to Jean-Claude Van Damme’s franchise titled “Kill ‘Em All 2”; and the suspenseful film “Find Your Friends” with Helena Howard, Bella Thorne, Zion Moreno, Chloe Cherry, and Sophia Ali in the leading roles.

Upcoming initiatives from TAIC feature a biographical drama about the Maserati family, penned and helmed by Bobby Moresco, as well as the movie “Ferrari vs. Mercedes,” also under Moresco’s direction. These projects were conceived during Iervolino’s tenure at ILBE.

Lately, Iervolino has been expanding his horizons beyond the realm of film and television production. He’s now part-owner of Miami FC, a professional soccer team situated in Florida. Moreover, he’s been developing Tuscany Film Studios, an advanced filming complex located near Florence, Italy. Furthermore, he oversees Tatatu S.p.A., a publicly traded platform that utilizes blockchain technology.

At the tender age of 13, Iervolino, known for his entrepreneurial talents, began creating local websites in his hometown of Cassino, Italy. Fast forward to when he was 17, and he had already earned a co-executive producer credit on the 2005 film “The Merchant of Venice,” which featured Pacino. In 2011, the company ILBE was founded by Iervolino in Rome, in partnership with Bacardi.
